XV Colloquium of Aragonese Art.

Women and the universe of arts, a narrative still incomplete.

In accordance with the new tendencies that postulate research and the study of a part that is overlooked in the field of Art History, such as the presence of women in the institution and the arts ecosystem, it is proposed to hold a colloquium transverse thread the role of women, not as an image or represented figure, but as an active protagonist, as a patron, sponsor, gallerist or creator.

The proposal will cover a wide chronological arc, ranging from the Middle Age to the present, including aragonese, spanish and foreign women.

SUBMISSION OF COMMUNICATIONS

Those interested should send their communications or a summary of them at least three pages before Friday December 21, 2018 to the email address: XVcoloquiomujeres@unizar.es. Communications and abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee of the Symposium for its defense and subsequent publication.

This committee will assign each communication to the corresponding section. Acceptance / denial will be communicated before January 20. The complete communications (corresponding to 10 minutes of oral presentation) must be delivered, in digital format, before Monday, February 25, and the committee reserves the possibility of its final acceptance.

 

PUBLICATION RULES

  • Maximum extension 20,000 characters with spaces.
  • Word format.
  • Times New Roman, nº 12.
  • Illustrations: maximum 5 images in JPG format with the maximum possible resolution. The organization of the Symposium and those responsible for editing the Minutes Book, will not assume obligations with thirds due to image rights, and the payment of said rights, if any, will be borne by the signer of the communication.

 

OBTAINING CREDITS:

The students of the University of Zaragoza will be able to obtain 1 ECTS credit, for which they must attend the sessions of the Colloquium and carry out a work of no more than 3 pages in which the summary of some of the papers will be included. This must be delivered to the Department of Art History Secretariat before April 8.
